Deadlift & Grip Challenges @ tygh Valley and Little John

Rules: Grip Gauntlet

1. Loading Pin: 

Using the antler handle only lift with both the right and left hands 190lbs (men) or 145lbs (women) to lock out under control and pause for 1 full second. Three warm ups provided, only two attempts at top weight.


2. Dead Hang: 

Using any grip dead hang from a pull up bar for 1 full minute. Only one attempt.

Rules: Deadlift @ Kilgore Intermediate Standard

Click here to find your division for age and bodyweight for the Kilgore Standards


1. Must sign waiver, weigh in on provided scale for Kilgore Standard


2. Meet the Kilgore standards for age and bodyweight at the Intermediate level for 1 solid LOCKED OUT rep for 1 full second (without grip aids). Chalk and leather belt allowed and provided. Three Warm Up sets, two attempts at top weight only. No time limit. 


3. Win a T-Shirt and Gift Certificate, Special Award is a Dominion Leather Lifting Belt if someone can meet the Kilgore Elite Standard
