 Effective general strength follows 3 criteria: Using the greatest amount of muscle mass, over the longest effective range of motion, to lift the most weight per the individual. This is most effectively accomplished by way of proper technique, gym programming, and recovery. We must follow the stress-recovery-adaptation cycle for strength

This is effective functional training in Hood River. Barbells are accessible and affordable. Machines and other implements generally fail to meet these parameters and are therefore not an strength training emphasis.

After initial private face to face introductory sessions together at the gym, we work via the TrueCoach online programming app. Narrated video coaching via Screencastify, tailored weight training programming, and goal updates are standard.
